Teaching Your Children to Think for Themselves
When Parental Alienation is present, children are penalized for thinking for themselves. Under these circumstances, these children are compelled to follow the alienating parent's agenda in both thought and deed. In fact, if they do disagree with the "party line" they run the risk of being attacked or abandoned by that parent.
The Targeted Parent occupies the unique position of modeling independent thought versus the enmeshed constraints that the child feels with the alienating parent. This course addresses and sensitizes the targeted parent to the subtle but vital role that they play in their child's life. Also addressed is the child's subjective experience of the two very different households of their life, and shows how to best use this contrast to your child's benefit.
